Mega Millions changed price from $2 to $5 ticket. Sales are awful, the proof is current Jackpot, after 48 consecutive draws no winner, Jackpot is only $381 millions, the PowerBall reach $1.78 Billion at $2 a ticket after only 42 Draws, someone at Mega Millions need to explain this and get fired. Simple people are buying your overpriced game anymore. It's total fail, why not just charged $3 dollar instead or add extra draw Sundays.

+33 @MailmanCEB Although it may take a lot longer, MM now has the potential to hit 3 Billion or higher due to less tickets being sold to cover all combinations. But I agree the $5 is way too high.

+14 @gvillager Except it hasn't been 48 consecutive draws since there has been a winner. It's only been 21, the last one was for $348 million which was sold in Virginia on June 27th and that one had 20 draws to get to that point.
