It seems like the jackpot grows extremely slowly ever since the ticket was bumped to $5 — even when the Mega jackpot is big while the Powerball is small.
Have to wonder if they're regretting this change. Seems like they overestimated people's willingness to accept inflation when it comes to lottery tickets and they probably should have waited for Powerball to be ready to increase the ticket price too.

+22 @r117sr Well, I hate it, and the megaplay just isn't worth the extra 2 dollars. I'd be singing a different tune if the odds were significantly better. I'm not sure you can "undo" this, and Im afraid Powerball will follow suit. Some bs will come out like "so much money, so many more winners, der. Take my word for it"
