+41 The Million Dollar "Rip-off" Raffle 2025

  • I honestly feel like "The Million Dollar Raffle" was predetermined before the raffle started.
  • Since the raffle started I purchased a total of $1,260.00, which is 63 tickets. Out of all those tickets only one was a winner. The lowest prize $200.
  • The results weren't live. It was a pre-recorded video randomly posted on their YouTube page with just the top 15 raffle numbers. This whole time they never said beforehand what time the drawing would take place. I can't find any information about when it was taken place.
  • My main reason to believe it was set-up because I had an issue with one retailer/gas station. I went to a retailer in Brooklyn. I asked for a tix and the cashier handed me one he already printed. He had at least 10+ tickets printed on the side which was shady. I said I wanted one from the machine not some random ticket. I contacted NY lottery customer service the next day. Customer Service said maybe they were trying to sell me a ticket printed by mistake. You literally have to hit Yes on the machine and see a message saying that it cost $20. Ain't no way the fucking retailer is printing out 10+ tickets by mistake. Customer Service reply made no sense. It was like the didn't care.
  • Only 700,000 out of the 2 million available tickets were purchased. This was listed a few hours before the raffle numbers were released on Oct 26th.

+12 @Ssme812 - This sub doesn't allow me to write lottery or rigged in the body of post. Kinda stupid but whatever. - Also with the normal Mega, Power etc games they tell you what location had the winning tickets within a few hours. The Raffle didn't. - I honestly didn't expect to win 1 million but only 1 $200 winner is just WTF. Guess I'll never play anymore raffles ever again. To my knowledge it was the 1st NY had. - I did manage to win half the money I spent for these raffles tix within the last 2 weeks.
