What Would You do if You WON?
By majorbird5352+17 What Jackpot amount would make it "justified" for you get a Mega Millions ticket?
I decided to bite the bullet and get two sets of quickpicks for the upcoming Mega Millions drawing (the first tickets I've gotten for the MM since before the $5 change). I saw the $900M figure and figured it was worth it, so I'm wondering: What MM jackpot amount would you personally see as "worth it" to put some money in?

+19 @LMicheleS None really. $5 a ticket is too steep for the odds in this game. Even Powerball's $2 makes me cringe, but I occasionally buy plays there. For the most part, I pour my lotto $ into the state lotto draws at $1 a play.
+14 @Open_Employment For Mega Million? I need it at least 1.5 Billion for me to be interested due to the cost. For PowerBall? At least 250 Million, but i tend to have better luck on Powerball. The math doesn't back it up but it just seems to happen. For scratch-offs? I look for older $5 and $10 tickets with a few Jackpots left. For example there's a $5 cross-word one in NY that still has 5 $300K jackpots available. I like them since it seems most people don't want to do them anymore. I have no justification on why I like them, but it feels more exciting to go after a ticket people have given up on.
