What Would You do if You WON?
By metysj+73 Calling lottery players ‘bad at math’ is lazy. We know the odds. We just prefer a $5 dream over a $5 beer
Have you ever been called ‘bad at math’ or worse just for playing the lottery?
Do you feel like you have to justify buying a ticket when other people blow $ on drinks, snacks, or apps?
Curious how you all handle those. Share your stories!

+18 @TheZachpot People on my channel constantly tell me “you could’ve donated that to charity or done something useful.” Yet those comments wouldn’t come along if I was posting about spending money on a vacation or nice dinner. People just like to feel superior and it’s easy for them to point at the terrible odds of the lottery. We know the odds. Someone’s gotta win. It probably won’t happen but if it’s financially viable, I’d like to throw my hat in the ring just in case.
+16 @Jeremichi22 A lot of us do it actually knowing the odds and just prefer to dream still instead of going through life knowing we are all fucked
+11 @Tough_Cycle8603 I'm such a frugal person in every area of my life, and I always have been. So buying these tickets and dreaming about winning needs no justification. I deserve to treat myself, and I can afford it. And my husband encourages me playing because he knows I really am not one to just blow money all willy-nilly.
