I try to buy consecutive tickets in a pack, I check odds, don’t play tickets below $10, all that crap.

I usually get 100-500 winners. The most I’ve ever won was $700.

The last month and a half, I was just hitting duds and barely breaking even. So I pulled back on playing. It was draining, figuratively and literally.

Today, I bought five tickets of the $10 mystery crossword scratcher (yellow) starting with ticket 32-36. I won 3/5 tickets, with this 1k winner being ticket #34. Vowels in my letter bank were o,u,i,e.

I will deposit this in my bank account and continue to dial back on playing scratchers.

Lesson for me here: it’s all luck and chance- do not chase and do not assume that a strategy will work.
