+42 I won 5k on a scratcher and decided to try my luck again.

Well here's an update for anyone interested. I took the 5k and added 1k of mine and decided to reinvest into the game.

I asked the store to order me 10 books which they did, 5 came the next day and 5 came the day after. Both sets of 5 books came in sequential order.

The plan was to invest 6k and let the winnings from prior books pay for the next books. Each book has a floor return of 825 and the max I saw without getting the 5k scratcher was 1400 but usually it's around 1000-1100.

Book 1 $850

Book 2 $1100

Book 3 $1050

Book 4 $950

Book 5 $875

Next day

Book 6 $850

Book 7 $1400...I hit a 500 winner

Book 8 $850

Book 9 $950

Book 10 $950

They had a random book laying around and I tried my luck and it was only $850

For the final book I had to take some money out the ATM to make it to the 1500 it was around 600.

So I currently have 950 in tickets and deciding what I want to do with the winnings.

I should also add I had about 600 in tickets that I used for this endeavor trying to hit the million. In total it was about 7300 dollars to scratch the 11 books but I still have the 950 in tickets leftover.

Also just want to add the NY Lotto app is very glitchy when scanning the barcodes which is what I did for each ticket. The app scanned winners that were not winners in the store and scanned losers that were winners in the store. So now I have to go back and scan about 1000 tickets to make sure nothing was missed.

if this particular games jackpots stay in place for the next couple of months I might do the same thing again. I just wanted to share my research
