So powerball is deciding to expand to the UK, what are your thoughts on this? I’m going to be calling my state congressman to try and stop this because I think it’s unfair to US players

+29 @Creative-Ad-6810 I thought I was being a big baby by not liking this one bit. I’m glad I’m not alone. I actually might not play anymore for the principal I thought the lottery’s taxes were to go towards something- I might be wrong and it only be state games that are like that but also to my understanding UK winners are tax exempt- it is unfair. Can we play euro millions now? I don’t think so.
+19 @writeact Didn't PowerBall start off as an American game? It should stay that way. Do Americans get to play euro millions or the Canadian lottery? This is just weird. First the mega millions price hike and now this. If it's not one thing it's another.
+18 @Dailyconundrum Since UK doesn't pay US income taxes, why are participating states supporting this? Exporting US $. Seems like a bad idea. Show me how this makes any kind of sense.
+11 @resilientone1 This is a terrible deal for Americans because Americans already create are own big lottos without other countries. I feel like this is barely better than it becoming 5 dollars like mega millions. And after they add Brit’s they will probably add more western countries.
