Like the title says, I was at a gas station and I found a losing lottery ticket on the ground. There was no signature on the back and they didn’t even scan the ticket as they did not even attempt to scratch the bar code. I saw the ticket has a 2nd chance drawing so I scratched the bar code and scanned it to be entered into the 2nd chance drawing on the lottery app. I didn’t think anything of it until I started researching more and that it could be considered fraud and others saying it’s a bearer instrument and that I would be fine. I’m just confused on the issue. Would I be okay and just do nothing or should I call the state lotto and tell them what happened and have them remove the entry. I just don’t want to be in any trouble with the law or anything like that. This is in Texas btw. Any advice is appreciated
