+16 @BumFCK_EgyptianHere You have to watch with these lawyers that specialize in helping lottery winners-some are crooked as hell. Some will try to get you to get an annuity because they know that lottery winners will plow through that money and then they want the rest of it up front. When they do that, these lawyers will scrape off 40% of the money and give you the rest. It’s bad enough you already lose 40% to taxes. Then you’re left with very little. I know not to mess with the likes of J.G. Wentworth because they’re notorious for doing this.
