I quit vaping by reading scary medical articles about teenagers with holes in their lungs caused by vaping and buying lottery tickets instead of vapes when I had the urge for nicotine. I also quit alcohol and I’m completely sober now.

However, I’m now addicted to buying lottery tickets.

If I buy 3 tickets I have a roughly 1/100 million chance of being very wealthy 1/a couple million chance of never having to work again. If I won the jackpot I could buy my dream house for 4 million dollars and do whatever I want for the rest of my life and spoil rotten all the people I care about.

Any ideas for quitting this addiction? I’m a college dropout so my life sucks so it’s hard not to waste a couple dollars on a fantasy that my life will get better.
