+20 Do you have any lottery rituals or superstitions?

My mom and I do but I think my mom follows it more than I do.

  • People looking at the tickets I am buying (or scratching) is bad luck.
  • This is more strategy than ritual but I always buy a particular ticket in even numbers. So 2 or 4 tickets of a particular ticket. This only applies to scratchers.

I can't think of any others off the top of my head but I'm curious if anyone has these type of things.

+16 @hottie-von-coolie I run into this one guy once a week when I play. He DOES NOT want to be wished “good luck”. If the person behind the counter does it, he immediately becomes angry and mumbles “these tickets are worthless now.”
