What Would You do if You WON?
By obi-dug+33 Is the $5 mega millions disappointing?
It really doesn’t seem like the jackpot is increasing that much faster than It used to. They probably would have been better off with a third drawing each week.

+61 @Yerusaleem Over the years of buying lotteries I always wondered why won’t they just cap the jackpot at say $50 million and on the draw day if nobody wins - automatically re-draw until someone wins. That way there would be more winners and millionaires instead of 1 person randomly winning $500+ million which they wouldn’t be able to spend in a lifetime anyways. On the other hand 50 or even 20-30 million would be life changing for so many people and it would attract more people to participate
+34 @buffer5108 Every news report I saw in advance of the new $5 ticket price seemed to be cheerleading the announcement. There’s been no balance reporting on those who think that raising the ticket price was greedy bull shit in a tough economy. And “improving” the grand prize odds from $302 million to one…to…$290 million to one does not justify raising the price by more than double.
+15 @TXfire22 I think they aren't liking the results, but won't say it publicly just yet.
