I know that supposedly all numbers have an equal chance of being drawn, but I hate getting tickets that start with "01". I have seen winning numbers that start with 1 before, but there's just something about it that makes me feel like the ticket is an automatic loser. The key word here is feel, I know it's just kind of a weird bias I have that's not based in reality.

I also dislike getting tickets that seem too random, I like to see a couple of sequential numbers as it seems like I've noticed sequential numbers a lot in winning draws.

Lastly, I wonder about the differences from store to store when it comes to the numbers their particular machine generates. I like the numbers I end up with at one gas station moreso than another, and at that other I seem to get more tickets that start in "01".

Any superstitions or theories on that?

One thing I like about draw games versus scratchers, is that when I leave the store, my ticket is just as likely to win as anyone else's, but with scratchers, a big winner may not even be in my entire city. Even inside one store they are selling the same tickets out of a machine as they are behind the counter, which one do you pick? Of course there is no way of knowing, it's maddening. With a scratcher it is or it isn't, with a draw ticket, it could be.
