Recently won 4k. My first time filling out a claim form on July 7th. I called the lottery headquarters to see if they received it and they haven’t. Does it usually take this long to mail? The grocery store mailed it out. From uniontown Pa to Harrisburg Pa I figured they would’ve got it by now? The guy said mail has been slow. I know the whole process can take weeks. Just paranoid as to why it hasn’t shown up yet for them.

+82 @Pernicious-Peach You trusted a grocery store to mail your form and ticket?? Oof. In other states, you would mail it in yourself. Or take it there yourself. I would never trust a minimum wage worker at a grocery store with a $4k ticket.
+29 @CherryPeppersnOnions Hi. It shouldn’t take that long. I’ve gotten my checks in the mail within 3-4 weeks. I would have gone to the post office and mailed with tracking. You’re at the mercy of that employee and the supermarket.

+11 @hottie-von-coolie Never trust anyone to send your winning ticket. If you don’t want to go in person, you send it certified mail return receipt requested or express mail which gives you a confirmation.
